Max & Me's 2021 Estate Syrah is an exceptional wine, crafted from hand-picked Shiraz grapes from the renowned Boongarrie Estate 'North' block. With careful growing, picking, fermentation and élevage decisions taken to highlight the fragrance and spice of the varietal, this Syrah was harvested on 12/03/2021. A portion of whole-bunch was included in the small open fermentation (1.7 tonnes), creating a complex and voluptuous expression of the varietal.

Appearance: Vibrant Purple rim with a dark core
Aroma: Satsuma plum lease the way for green peppercorn, anise, and a touch of mint freshnes. Undertones of earth line the way for what's to come with time
Flavour: The promise of plum is confirmed on the palate with bright acidity calming the tannins and allowing the structure of the whole bunch to bring crunch and length
